Description

ONLINE AUCTION from 11th NOVEMBER - 13th NOVEMBER 2025

A spacious Grade ll Listed church which has Expired Planning Permission to convert into a five bed, five bath/en-suite rooms residential property. Renovations have been started by way of breeze block divisions and drainage system. The property will be sold as seen. Glynneath is a small town lying on the River Neath in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot, Wales. It was formerly in the historic county of Glamorgan. Industrialisation reached Glynneath when coal mining started in 1793, and rapidly expanded when the Neath Canal came to the village in 1775. Many features of the old canal still survive to the present time. There are waterfalls to the north east at Pontneddfechan near the Brecon Beacons and large parts of the rural area are heavily forested.

Planning: Planning permission has expired but was to convert into a 5 bedroom, 3 en-suite/2 bath/shower rooms residential property
Planning ref: P2016/0799 (Please contact Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council Local Authority for further information)

They are not necessarily figures which a property will sell for and may change at any time prior to the auction. Virtually every property will be offered subject to a Reserve (a figure below which the Auctioneer cannot sell the property during the auction) which we expect will be set within the Guide Range or no more than 10% above a single figure Guide.
