The A39 Atlantic Highway runs north-east to Barnstaple and south-west to Bude. Stagecoach South West bus routes serve the town, including the 5B to Torrington, Crediton and Exeter and the 317 to Torrington and Okehampton. Bideford Long Bridge, the Quay and the Tarka Trail are all close by.
